Coromandel (Next Date to be Advised)


The Coromandel peninsula is situated on the east coast of New Zealand.  Roughly 3 hours from Auckland it has  amazing scenery and fantastic beaches.

Rotorua (Next date for trip to be advised)


Often called many names including Roto vegas, home of Maori culture, smelly, Rotorua is a must do for every visitor to New Zealand.


3 to 4 hours from Auckland, and with lots to do , an overnight stay is a must.  The white water rafting on the Kaituna, offers the highest commercial rapids , with a 7 metre drop this is a great white knuckle ride.


The mud pools, and thermal activity in the whole area provide an out of this world or alien environment.

Bay of Islands


Often regarded as the Jewel of the Pacific, the Bay of Islands is an amazing place to visit.


Just 2 and a half hours from Auckland by bus , the region known as the Bay of Islands encompasses the main town ships of Pahia and Russell.


Russell was the first capital of New Zealand and still retains a special historical place in New Zealand history.


Pahia, site of the Waitangi Treaty grounds and meeting house is for many the spiritual starting point of New Zealand, and the coming together of Maori and Europeans.

Trip Overview: 

Day 1
Depart from Orewa, with pick ups in Auckland,travel through to Lake Taupo. Arriving Taupo we view the Huka falls and any last minute shopping before checking into our accommodation. Either cook your own dinner at the accommodation or dine out in Taupo town.
Day 2
Breakfast before we start our travels to Wellington. Late afternoon ferry to Picton where we stay for the evening.
Day 3
Travel through to Buller after a leisurely breakfast. Walk across the swing Bridge (included in price). Other activity options – Flying fox, single or tandem, Jet boating. Tonight’s dinner will be Fish n Chips, fruit with Hokey Pokey ice cream.
Day 4
Today after breakfast we will travel down the spectacular West Coast, through rain forest stopping at the scenic “Punakaiki Pancake Rocks” and the historic gold mining town Hokitika where we will visit the Kiwi House (included in price). Arriving early evening at Franz Joseph.
Day 5
Breakfast all together, before exploring the Franz Joseph Glacier, a frozen glacial “River” formed thousands of years ago. There a various options of activities to do here depending on what you would like to experience. You could choose a guided half day walk on the glacier or take a helicopter to the top! Kayak Mirror lakes. We will run a bus to the car park of the glacier and take a short walk for those of you who do not want to book any activities. After your full day we will provide a Yummie dinner!
Day 6
After breakfast, we have a long trip through the rain forest of Haast Pass to our destination
Queenstown, where we will stay for the next three nights. We stop along the way for lunch,
stopping to take a look at Lake Wanaka and to have some fun at PUZZLE WORLD!
(Included in price). Once we have checked into our accommodation you have your own
Day 7
Breakfast will be served from 8am allowing students enough time before they go and have a fun day with their chosen activities. Skydive/Bungy Jumping/Paragliding/Jetboating.
For those who don’t have any activities booked you have the day at your leisure.
After dinner, provided by us at the lodge you can take a walk by the lake (which rises and
falls every few minutes – called the “Heart of New Zealand” in Maori legend)
Day 8
Breakfast will be served from 8am allowing students enough time before they go and have a fun day with their chosen activities. Skydive/Bungy Jumping/Paragliding/Jetboating
You will be given a ticket for the gondola and two Go Cart rides which you can go to at your
own leisure (Gondola and 2 luge rides included)
Day 9
Early breakfast today as we have a long drive to Oamaru. We will drive through some spectacular scenery and we will have many stops on the way. Early evening we will visit the penguin colony.
Day 10
Early breakfast before leaving to travel north along the East coast to Kaikoura. We will have many scenic stops along the way.
Day 11
Breakfast all together. Those who are booked onto the sea voyage to “Watch the Whales” or who have booked to go swimming with the dolphins. Others who have no activities booked will be taken to the seal colony where you can see the seals and we can do a short walk around the area. Or you may want to just relax do some shopping. Leaving at midday to catch the evening ferry back to Wellington.
After an early breakfast we will visit Te Papa museum before heading north to the National
Park where we will spend our last night. We will all have dinner together at the Park.
Day 13
This morning we will drive to Mount Ruapehu and take the chair lift part way up. Scenery will be stunning. Many, Lord of the Rings film sets were filmed around here. After lunch we will start heading back to Auckland. We will aim to be back at the school for around 7.30pm

Northlands 3 Day tour


Often called the winterless north the fantastic beaches and scenery of Northland are a must for all visitors to New Zealand.

Highly recommended is the quad biking or horse riding on 90 mile beach - a truly once in a lifetime experience.

The Lighthouse at Cape Reinga marks a spiritual place , the departing place of spirits leaving in death to Hawaiki, an amazing spot well worth the drive.

Sand boarding at the giant Te Paki sand dunes offers a real leg work out.

The ferry crossing over the Hokianga, one of the largest harbours in the world provides a relaxing 3o minutes.
